What it does
Notably records live calls from your machine and turns them into transcripts you keep as notes. No meeting bots, no upload by default.
One click, both sides
Start with a click or a global keyboard shortcut. On your Mac, Notably captures system audio and your microphone at the same time, so the other side of the call is in the transcript too.
On-Device Whisper (macOS)
12 local Whisper models, tiny through large-v3-turbo, Metal-accelerated. On your Mac, audio never leaves the device unless you choose the cloud engine.
No Bot in the Meeting
Nothing joins your call and no notetaker shows up in the participant list. Notably records from your machine; other participants see nothing.
Live Transcription
A light realtime model transcribes while you record. Afterwards, a heavier model can re-transcribe the recording for accuracy, on demand or automatically.
A Notes UI, Not a Dashboard
Recordings live as notes in a two-panel layout: list on one side, transcript and playback on the other. Click a transcript segment to jump to that moment in the audio.
Export & Manage
Rename, delete, and export transcripts as text, JSON, or SRT subtitles, or copy straight to the clipboard.
